Ok so I'm still in the Trial period, I decided to live in a Pirate Faction station in 0.0 and run missions for them. So I make the journey in a noobship uneventfully (except for a bubble once but nobody was around unless they were cloaked) and I get to the station and start chatting with the locals.
They are a friendly bunch for the most part, a few offered advice and really tried valiantly to help me out with finding a corp in hisec (thanks dudes). Some other advice was to go back to hi sec or I'd get blown up until I got discouraged to which I responded that I had set my clone there and they could blow me up all they want I'll just return to station. I also remarked that before anyone lock me as a defenseless noob, they should consider that I will remember and when I skill up enough I will find them and kill them. I do expect they will kill me a lot LOL.
Anyways, I've got a sugar daddy alt in hisec that supports me out here very well with the iskies - I'm getting all the skillbooks I need and locating ships and fittings just fine. Got like a dozen safes in system and fast undocks set too. So anyways long story short (too late! lol): Anything I might be missing as far as surviving out here? Besides "go back home to hisec, noob"? |

By going flashy red do you mean just shoot at anything and everything?
I'm curious: what'll happen if I shoot at the station out here? Do I get lowered standing with the owner faction?
(stuck at work and can't try it out)
Also, the belt rats, I will have to make sure not to shoot any that are of my station's faction - correct? |

Yeah I'm prone to just minding my own business, being the new kid and all that - don't want to get on anyone's bad side if I don't have to. Friends are a precious commodity out here I'm sure.
The stuff out here is sometimes eye-bleeding expensive, but I really don't feel like schlepping to hisec everytime I need something. Besides, Sugar Daddy has deep pockets lol.
My goals...well, I want to be able to become self-suffcient at some point, join a good corp, have some good times, make friends and kill enemies.
...And have people fear me when I go back to visit hisec. |
